The Żuławy Loop is a very attractive waterway connecting the Vistula, Martwa Wisła, Szkarpawa, Wisła Królewiecka, Nogat, Wisła Śmiała, Święta – Tuga and Motława rivers, the Jagielloński Canal (Kanał Jagielloński), the Elbląg and Pasłęka rivers, and the Vistula Lagoon. Depending on the route, the route is about 150-175 km long, and all of the waterways in the region account for just over 300 km. The entire loop can be done by any type of a boat, including those with a greater scantling draft. The Żuławy Loop is a part of International Waterway E70, going from Rotterdam through the inland waterways junction point in Berlin, the Warta, Noteć, and Vistula rivers, to Kaliningrad and, further, on to Klaipeda via the Neman waterway system (Pregoła and Dejma). Private investors and local authorities are trying to develop a network of marinas, ports and docking platforms on the Żuławy Loop.
